Memorable are certain dates in our lives. Most of them make us smile, for we choose to obliterate the unpleasant ones. There is a day, we at Whiteline Journal remember – the day we lost a golden soul who, a few months earlier had launched an initiative that was to grow into a spectacular venture.
The year was 2001. Kollam, the gateway to the charming backwaters of Kerala was getting ready to celebrate Onam. As the festive breeze lilted in, the younger one looked up to his friend and philosopher and asked, “Why don’t we start a magazine, Anna?” Anyone else would have found the idea preposterous, but not the razor sharp brain. As planned, a week before Onam, an 8-page tabloid in Malayalam ‘Whiteline Business Journal’ made its appearance.
Today, the word ‘Whiteline’ graces the mastheads of four publications, elicits a nod of approval from lakhs of readers, and stands poised to enter new heights. Thanks to that smiling face of inspiration and encouragement.
Fate snatched him away in an accident on 26 February 2002.

'മൈ മലയാള'ത്തില് മഹാകവി കുമാരനാശാന്റെ കവിത കണ്ടപ്പോള് സന്തോഷം തോന്നി. നിയമങ്ങള് ഒന്നിന് പുറകെ ഒന്നായി ഒരാവശ്യവുമില്ലാതെ നിര്മ്മിക്കുകയും, നിര്മ്മിക്കുന്ന നിയമങ്ങള് ഒരു കൂസലുമില്ലാതെ ഭേദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ രാജ്യത്തിലെ സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടത് അതില് നിന്നുമുള്ള മോചനമാണ് . 'മാറ്റുവിന് ചട്ടങ്ങളെ...' എന്ന ആ വാക്കുകള് ഇന്നും എത്ര പ്രസക്തം.
